Our saffron (crocus sativus) is grown, with an ORGANIC production in the context of the Agro Pontino, in the locality of Tirinzanola (Cori - LT) at 690 meters above sea level in land that has been used only for grazing for over 90 years of cattle and horses.
In this territory, which we can define as uncontaminated, Cori saffron is grown in a completely natural and manual way, excluding any use of chemical products in the cultivation, drying and conservation phases. Our saffron is dried at 45°C on the same day of harvesting so that all its properties remain intact.
It is not contaminated by resins and/or fumes; ideal for high gastronomy. To ensure their purity and to preserve all their properties, the saffron stigmas are packaged whole in sealed glass jars.
