Ercole, wine dedicated to the Temple of Hercules (1st century BC) built on the acropolis of Cori. Obtained with Nero Buono grapes - an ancient native vine of millenary tradition recovered and relaunched by Cincinnato through research and experiments that have documented its peculiar qualitative characteristics. Low yields per hectare, selection of the grapes and long aging in oak barrels make it original and exclusive.

• TECHNICAL SHEET: Red wine, classified IGT Lazio Rosso, from 100% Nero Buono di Cori grapes. Alcohol degree 13.5%

• VINEYARDS: Located on the lava hills of the Corese area at an altitude of about 250 meters above sea level; clayey volcano soil; row training system with about 4,000 plants per hectare; guyot pruning; yield per hectare equal to 60-80 quintals. Harvest period 25 September - 10 October.

• VINIFICATION: Perfectly ripe grapes with about 22% sugar; soft crushing and destemming; fermentation with the skins for about 10 days at 26 ° C; malolactic yes; maturation in barriques for 12 months; refinement in glass for 8 months.

• TASTING NOTES Intense ruby ​​red color, persistent harmonious scent; full-bodied dry flavor with hints of undergrowth, small black fruits, soft with notes of sweet cocoa in the finish. To combine with rich and tasty dishes, meats and aged cheeses. Serve at 18 ° C. Store in a cool, dry and protected from light. Optimal consumption after 2 years of aging.
